Frederick Greenwood papers [manuscript], 1902-1962.

Papers of a banker of Portland, Oregon, who served as head of the local branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in the 1910s and later became the manager of the Portland branch of the Bank of California. The collection includes: correspondence with Greenwood's brother George, a Seattle banker; correspondence relating to the Portland Symphony Orchestra, letters and documents regarding trusteeship for Anna Gertrude (Head) Bentley, materials relating to the American Bankers Association and other professional organizations; and two scrapbooks.

Frederick Greenwood was born in 1889 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He eventually settled in Portland, Oregon, and became a prominent banker in the city. He headed the local branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Franicsco in the 1910s, and later became the manager of the Portland branch of the Bank of California.
